In protest, on the day of the US presidential inauguration, “Justice Roberts” (participating viewers) administered the oath to the president, “Donald Trump” (Butch Sassidy). The official oath was performed, as were 10 other “oaths” by people who wanted to be part of the performance. Each person donned the justice’s cloak and would read the lines for “Donald Trump” to repeat them. All the while, “Trump” was raising their right arm and the left hand was holding a bible. Elastic string was tied from the arms to the wall behind them causing difficulty and fatigue.

“I, Donald John Trump, do solemnly swear
that I will faithfully execute
the Office of President of the United States,
and will to the best of my ability,
preserve, protect and defend
the Constitution of the United States.
